History

CJLC was established in 2000 to provide rate setting and audit services to the State of Connecticut Department of Social Services and Department of Developmental Services. Our history and experience with the regulatory compliance of reimbursement is unmatched in the State of Connecticut Long-Term Care industry.

Craig has worked in the Long-Term Care industry since 1985 and is the founding Member of Craig J. Lubitski Consulting, LLC. Mark has worked in the Long-Term Care industry since 1996. Both have extensive knowledge of Connecticut Long-Term Care regulations, policies and history which enable them to react immediately to legislative changes. They have extensive experience with both the rate computations and field audit procedures for all levels of care allowing them to assist providers in all aspects of Connecticut Medicaid compliance.

As experts in the intricacies and nuances of Long-Term Care rate setting they have considerable experience in reviewing the reasonableness and allowability of costs in accordance with State Medicaid and Medicare regulations. They are able to quickly identify key issues that are critical in rate setting and preparation of Long-Term Care Annual Reports.

They are fluent in the various reimbursement models utilized for of Long-Term Care and can readily assess issued rates to maximize available reimbursement. CJLC can assist industry providers to prepare for regulatory audits and can identify provider exposure and estimate the impact of audit findings.
